| My faith story: | My husband had divorced me causing me to wake up. There were some major decisions that I needed to make, and I was procrastinating. Well, after he divorced me things began to look dim; I was no longer happy in the relationships I tried to get into, I started drinking, and going places that I would have never thought about going into. Life was meaningless. I tried to find joy in drugs, sex, gambling and other things, but everything failed. There were days when all I desired to do was sleep and days when I wanted to check-out(kill myself). It got so bad, until one day, I cried out to this God that I had been taught about every since I was a tot. That day was the first day of my new life. I begin to hunger and thirst after more of Jesus. Since I loved to read, I start reading my Bible and every Christian book I could find. Every times the doors of the Church was opened, I was there. This is a short version. |
