| My faith story: | I was born is CA and my faith wasn't strong. My family moved to WV and I was still hanging on to the things of the world. Then The Lord convicted me, and I threw away my books and music that dishonored God and didn't glorify Him. I listened to Christian radio instead of audiobooks, I stopped listening to rap music that dishonored God and had Christian rap and rock bought for me. I talked about God in my School and they didn't regard it. Still the Lord strenghthen my faith and in His abilities And I prayed more and more. Then started seeking other christans for advice. I got out of the trap of sin, and became a believer and feared God and all that he is going to do in the world. I knew That God had a better plan for me and didn't want my attention to be on worthless entertainment. I sought godly books and mainly the Bible. Now I can say that I am a mature Christian and growing Spiritually. I want to do all the Lord has said in HIs word. Because if one loves the lord, they will do what He says. I know That I am saved and have the Love for God's people. I seek good from the Lord and knowledge and wisdom because everything in this world perishes. I used to hold grudges, but Jesus said that if we don't forgive others, then God wouldn't forgive us. So I let go of all of my grudges, and the burden was lifted off of me. |
